I recently came to this restaurant with a few girlfriends and we loved this restaurant. The restaurant had a very fun and trendy atmosphere. Our waiter, Mericis was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. This restaurant does sell out of a lot of items on their menu so be mindful. The Harchatarian was delicious! The fried tomato was the perfect addition to the super crispy sandwich! The grilled cheese had the perfect meat to cheese ratio! The egg omelette was very delicious and had lot of toppings! The French toast was very sweet and flavorful! Would recommend coming here!

Still a great brunch place. The new location is huge with indoor and outdoor seating. They won't seat you until your entire party is present. The place is beautiful with tons of photo ops. There's literally a swing inside just for that. The menu is quite expensive and the portions are on the smaller side however it's expected for a popular trendy brunch place. The hatchshuka (their version of a shakshuka) has tomato sauce (it was supposed to be spicy, there was little spice), eggplant, onions, peppers, cheese, egg and served with garlic bread. It was good but there weren't enough veggies or egg in it, some parts just felt like you were at an Italian dinner mopping up sauce with garlic bread. Didn't feel worth $18.95 for a lot of tomato sauce. I asked for my almond milk on the side of my iced coffee but it was mixed in and the coffee came in the smallest glass. It was a cute glass but a tiny portion. Weirdly, iced coffee isn't on the menu but they serve it. Service was basic, fine, nothing special, the host was a bit rude Overall, a good place for the pictures and more unique than a diner.

Went here on a beautiful Saturday morning for breakfast/brunch. Did not have a reservation but was promptly sat when we arrived. Upon getting seated our waitress arrived fairly quickly with some glasses of water, asked us had we been there before, went through a brief explanation of how things went & gave us time to look over the menu after she took our drink order. Our waitress was great for the most part, very attentive but not intrusive. Gave a great explanation of the menu, their seasonal items & how long the food would take as each meal is prepared fresh to order. She was very thorough with her explanations & left no detail out (so I assumed). There were various times where she asked out how our food was & when we asked for a small item or even she offered herself she ( I would hope) forgot to mention that those items would be an extra charge. I had the matcha latte which left me wanting more. As a fan of matcha I don't think I would have it again, just wasn't for me. My companion had the dulce de leche coffee & was not a fan of it either. Now to the food, the pancakes were ok, nothing out of this world or gave me the feeling of needing to have them again. They were a little on the dryer side but the (small) maple syrup came in handy with that. The turkey bacon (that was suggested by the waitress to ask for well done to make sure it would come out at least a little crispy) was in fact not well done, came out about room temperature & was just ok . The chicken scoop was the star of the show (& one of their most popular items on their menu), the chicken was seasoned well, not over cooked & came out hot. The waffles were big, soft interior, crispy exterior & delicious. It was paired with bacon jam & what seemed like their homemade maple mustard syrup (which was really good). Would I come here again? Sure. Will I be trying other items off the menu instead of what we tried? Absolutely. This restaurant is located in the downtown of a beautiful small town. Filled with a bunch of local businesses all in walking distance of each other. Side note: they are byob, so if you're going for brunch & want some liquid courage, make sure to stop somewhere to grab a bottle of champagne or stop by the liquor store which is located about 1 block away.

Hatch 44 Cafe is hands down the best brunch spot I've never visited in NJ let alone in the past (dare I say) 5-10 years? After hearing so much buzz about Hatch 44, I had to admit, I was a bit skeptical at first. How could a spot be so hyped, so beautiful, so well reviewed and instagrammed AND continue to maintain solid customer service as well as quality in their food? It's a tall order and honestly, I could not have been more pleasantly surprised with how lovely my experience was here from start to finish. I came out for brunch one Saturday and since they don't take reservations unless it's for larger parties (6-8), I was able to add my name to a list and was sat within 30+ minutes which was within their estimated window. Once sat, I was greeted by my server who was so kind, friendly, and customer-oriented and even took the time despite the place being packed to walk me through the menu, offer suggestions and recommendations, and even explained the dishes as they came out. I ordered their deviled eggs (divine! fresh jalapeno and bacon bits? what's not to love!), their pistachio tres leche three fluff cakes soaked in pistachio creamy milk topped with mousse and edible flowers (not overly sweet and all the flavors just melded together), a coffee butter frencht toast creation that was piped to the brim with an amazing coffee creme, a side of fries and bacon and a flight of mocktails (yes you read that correctly a flight of seasonal mocktails, MORE OF THIS PLEASE) that were all delicious and light and not too sweet. Everything about Hatch 44 is just balanced. The flavors come together and meld together in a way that isn't overpowering and everything complements each other just so. Additionally, I'm usually very adamant about not ordering sweet brunch options however, I just couldn't resist these fluff cakes and I can honestly say these take the cake. The texture, quality and flavors were outstanding, and honestly the most memorable brunch I've had... in what feels like forever. This place not only lives up to the hype, but the quality of their ingredients, portion sizes, price point, and customer service is on point and now sets the new standard for what I expect when out and about. If you're also like me, you're always checking back to see what's new and fresh and from their menu (website) and social media (Instagram), it seems that this spot constantly has a bunch of fresh takes and revamped food and bevy items rotating through. I'm already stalking their social media pages and updated spring menu and cannot wait to go back. 20/10 for exceeding all expectations.

Love everything about this place. It looks so chic, centrally located, such pretty vibes inside and outside. We were seated right away, the service was top notch. Our server was the best. But we also saw the others doing the similar job around the cafe. The good omg! Was delicious. For steak and eggs. The steak was cooked to perfection - so tender and juicy - just how it should be for brunch. And the home cooked fries were next level. It has chimichurri sauce on it - it was heaven! The drinks came out great as well.

I wish I came here a year ago when I first heard about Hatch! Hatch was the perfect brunch. I wanted something yummy and casual and this far exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious! My favorite was the risotto! I'm not usually a fan but you can't not try this! My only complaint would be the table size. We were a table of 6 and between the drinks and food we didn't fit at the table. We couldn't all Order flights because there wasn't enough space. But overall I'd return and can't wait to try the Bradley beach location.

The food was fresh, very high quality ingredients that you can tear with each and every bite. The empanadas were so delicious! Definitely not greasy and freshly made. My coffee drink was made just right, and I appreciated their seasonal offerings. The service was quick, my server was knowledgeable and help in advising us on the menu. The ambiance was also clean, warm, cozy and very welcoming. The restaurant had a wide variety of ages, backgrounds and it just made me feel like I was in Brooklyn or the city somewhere! I felt very comfortable.
